B.F. Skinner’s perspective differed slightly. While still focusing on behaviour, he acknowledged the existence of internal events like thoughts and feelings but considered them as behaviours themselves that are subject to the same laws of learning (influenced by reinforcement/punishment) rather than causes of observable behaviour.
